How to Design Text in Microsoft PowerPoint About WordArt: WordArt is a feature of PowerPoint that allows you to add effects to text within a text box. The sorts of effects you can add to shapes and text boxes are much the same as those you can add to shapes and text boxes (shadow, bevel, etc.). You may also transform the text in WordArt to make it seem wavy, slanted, or inflated. To apply a WordArt style to text: A WordArt Style will automatically apply several effects to your text at once. You can then refine the look of your text by adding or modifying text effects. 1. Select a text box, or select some text inside of the text box. 2. In the WordArt Styles group on the Format tab, select the More drop-down arrow. 3. WordArt Styles will show as a drop-down menu. Choose a style that you'd want to apply. 4.
